Do you think atheists should celebrate during December?
In my opinion Christmas is a holiday that is barely related to religion anymore. When most people think Christmas they think consumerism, presents, santa claus, ect. I think it is perfectly reasonable for an atheist to celebrate because Winter Solstice has been a time of celebration for a very long time, and it makes a nice secular consumerism holiday in my opinion. It makes more sense to buy people presents celebrating the money you way able to make (yay capitalism!) rather than giving people presents because gods son was born, I mean how many other peoples B-Days do you get presents on.
