I am so excited!! Senators are calling for the ban to be lifted that prevents gay men from giving blood. This is one of my main causes because it is really discriminatory and also stupid because it makes it so many people are turned away that want to donate. You can read about the story here. As the article states, science has really progressed since 1984, and we are able to accurately test for HIV.
