So I tend to over think everything to the point of it interfering with my health. Currently I have been sleeping like crap, don't really have an appetite, and I have no energy. The main reason I am like this is really stupid too. I am getting myself bent out of shape worrying about the economy in the United States of America. Not just as it pertains to me, but in general. After reading many articles about what the fastest growing jobs will be in the next ten years I see an economy that will just keep getting worse unless something big is changed. It is really ridiculous for me to worry about this because even if I think of a change that could help our economy, I wouldn't be able to enact it. How I see it is that most jobs worth having are leaving the US because it is cheaper to hire someone elsewhere. In the next 10 years seven of the top ten fastest growing jobs are minimum wage jobs such as waitress, retail worker, ect. The only three jobs on the list that are not minimum wage are nurse, nurse tech, and accountant, all three of which are jobs which depend on other people having money and don't really produce anything. In the next ten years, the college educated workforce is going to greatly increase, and there will be no jobs available for them but minimum wage jobs. It started with the well paying factory jobs going overseas. My mother used to work at Delphi and made around $28 an hour with an associates degree. Jobs like hers are practically gone now. Now the design jobs are even starting to go overseas. My father who does PCB design is having a very hard time finding a job because a lot of companies have their designs done in different countries. The corporations who make a majority of their money in the United States should stay in the United States. I am not saying this out of pure jingoism. I truly believe that as countries move everything overseas in order to increase profits and lower prices, they are going to screw themselves over. Soon people in the U.S. will not be able to get good jobs doing anything. and won't be able to afford their products.
